We are in the thick of it, friend, as you might be too. Abby has done middle school volleyball and basketball, 4-H, all in conjunction with rodeo. Now, while rodeo is a few weekends out of the year for our district (CHSRA D7), it requires a ton of preparation just to be competitive, and sometimes even preparation doesn’t land you in the top 10. Here are some tips for how we juggle it!
When we pulled up to our first rodeo, rusted bumper pull and our truck with nearly 250K miles on it, to say I was insecure was an understatement. I saw lines of beautiful LQ trailers (living quarters horse trailers), brand new trucks and groups of people who looked like they’d known each other for ages gathering in between them.
